“ It was my first for my family and I trying this restaurant. The only reason for 4 stars, is I didn't get to try everything. I went for favorites that I always have loved. The owners are very friendly, and their usual customers are cared for. The food was fresh, and hot and tasty. I really enjoyed the egg drop soup, and the lo mein. The lo mein is not spaghetti noodles. I also had the garlic chicken, egg rolls, and sweet and sour items, fried potatoes are very good, and the fried rice was good. The restaurant is very small, and intimate. They made sure they checked on you. The prices are good. Whenever we visit Claremore, if my other favorite Chinese buffet is closed, I will definitely go to Golden Chef. ”
“ Went here for lunch, the building is small and looks unappealing on the outside if I’m honest, but man am I glad we gave it a shot, Don’t judge a book by its cover here! The food on the buffet was all very hot, fresh & above average quality, my son & I were very impressed. The man cooking was also the server & who I assume is the owner, & he was also fantastic. We will DEFINITELY be coming here a lot more! ”

The building is a little small but easy to maneuver through inside. The staff was nice and fast to seat us and supply refills. “ They have been in exact same spot greater then 25-30 years and they are still just as wonderful now as they have ever been. Food is always made to order with freshest ingredients and seasoning. Their prices are better then anyone else in town. They are kind and have wonderful customer service. I don't know how, but the food continues to get better and better. Love the people, love the food and huge selection you can choose from. Whenever I or any of my family and friends want Chinese, this is the only place we go. THEY ARE AMAZING!!?? ”
“ This food is very delicious for the price. I have tried multiple dishes here, and I haven't tasted a bad thing there since I started going there 18 years ago. This restaurant has been open in Claremore since the late 1980s. Portion sizes are good. There is a weekday buffet from 11 am to around 3:30 PM, I believe that is a great price. ”
